One woman says she’s been left in an awfully difficult and disturbing position, all thanks to her sister.
The new mom revealed how her own sister is eyeing her breastmilk so she can make soap for her unborn child. And that request has not sat down well for obvious reasons.
“My sister says she needs my milk to make soap for a baby that is yet to come into this world”- she continued. Moreover, now that it’s been days since she first asked, this woman claims the time has come to openly share her thoughts on the controversial matter.
The fact that she is left with no choice but to pump away breast milk for at least 20 minutes a day has really taken a toll on her everyday life. And for that reason, she treats her milk very preciously, nothing less than liquid gold.
Hence when her sister asked, she blatantly refused and now her sister is labeling her as uber selfish for her behavior.
“My sister doesn’t even know half the problems associated with pregnancy and having a child. Not only do you have to continue pumping, but you also need to face other major issues like nursing aversion. This is related to a surge in hormones that affects the way you lactate”- the woman explained.
But despite all her major concerns and woes, her sister fails to acknowledge any of it and instead of having some sympathy, she’s calling her out for her actions, making her feel worse than she already is.
The woman also revealed on Reddit how her sister had problems conceiving at first and now that she’s six months pregnant, she is more than looking forward to her beautiful bundle of joy. But that doesn’t mean she takes others’ breastmilk for granted, she continued.
