One family is going viral around the globe for hosting a gender reveal party for their son who no longer wished to live his life as a boy.
As bizarre as it sounds, the family who hails from Canada went on to explain how their 8-year-old son didn’t like being a boy and wished to alternate between his gender at the age of six.
The parents gave in to the child’s wish and are now introducing the son as their 8-year-old daughter, leaving the extended family in a state of absolute shock.
It is believed the child told the parents that he no longer felt like a boy on the inside and that seemed to be a good enough justification for the parents to assume that was the reality and that their son deserved every right to alter his gender and now become a girl.
Ella Scott is now 8 and hails from Ontario. She is believed to be happier than ever with the good news, adding how she always knew deep down inside that a girl is what she was destined to be from day one.
“We wanted our extended family members to know about Ella’s change so there was no more confusion”- the bold parents revealed. And they say they’ve got zero regrets about the decision that they’ve made because it’s the right one in their eyes.
The mother tried to make the world understand that parents know what’s best for their kids and this case was no exception.
“It was like she always knew it but we didn’t. We did find that she was a little different from others. For instance, she loved playing with girls and enjoyed her Frozen-themed toys too”- the mom continued to explain.
The couple also has two other children both of who are boys that enjoy playing rough and tough but Ella was never like that. She was stated to be more gentle and loving and that’s just another reason that had the parents second-guessing themselves.
