One evil father has reportedly gone on to stab his young daughter, right before turning the knife on his beloved wife.
According to local media reports, Prabhal Sharma reportedly stabbed and killed his wife Poonam and his daughter Vanessa.
The mother of two reportedly made dire efforts to go and run to the neighbors in a frantic manner to ask for assistance. But her efforts went in vain as she reportedly passed away.
The 40-year-old suspect attacked both his family members at the family home in Mill Park in Melbourne during the evening hours.
He was identified to be a taxi driver who continued to brutally carry on with the heinous crime despite his wife pleading to stop and communicate.
Reports revealed how the couple’s 10-year-old daughter luckily managed to survive somehow while her sibling passed away in the act.
Meanwhile. Emergency services revealed how they rushed to the family home at about 7:50 pm when they received a frantic call for help. This is the same time that the mother ran to the neighbor’s like her last resort of help, right before she died.
Investigators involved in the case spoke about how there were bloody handprints everywhere, including the neighbor’s front door.
Officers revealed how they strongly believe that the accused tried to follow his wife as she tried to rush for safety.
The mother tragically passed away at the scene of the crime while young Vanessa was rushed by paramedics to a nearby hospital, after suffering critical injuries.
And that’s when authorities revealed how she also passed away this morning.
A family friend has informed the police how the accused was suffering from a number of mental health issues and that things had recently started to take a sour turn.
At the moment, investigations into the family tragedy are being conducted as the father continues to remain in police custody.
