The topic of affairs and one-night stands can be a tricky ordeal, especially if they occur after you’re married.

This is a story about a husband and wife who are being torn apart over a decision that they both can’t seem to come to terms with. And now, the husband is putting his foot firmly on the ground and asking if he’s wrong for making the decision that he did in the end.

The husband chose to keep his profile and identity anonymous while speaking on the online platform. He hoped to vent his anger, frustration, and emotions out in the open, in front of an audience that he hoped wouldn’t judge him.

The story began with how his wife had conceived a child via a drunk one-night stand that she had with a total stranger. She opted to have the baby and gave it up. But now, she wants her husband to adopt the child.

“My wife and I had the most beautiful relationship but five years back, she got drunk and had a one-night stand with a stranger. She got pregnant and while she did give up that child, now it appears that she has some sort of the change in heart”- he explained.

Since her husband can’t have kids after suffering a horseback riding injury during his teenage life, he knew immediately that the child was not his.

But now, the wife feels that a relationship without any kids is incomplete and if they plan on adopting, why not adopt one that belongs to her.

“We don’t know who the father is, she never got his name or details. It just makes me so angry and now she wants to adopt his child and bring her into our little world”- the husband added.

But after thinking long and hard, he has decided that it’s a no from his side and now, he wants reassurance that the decision he made is correct.
