A man from South Carolina is all praise for his dog. He explains how a giant house fire erupted in his house, nearly killing him. And if it wasn’t for his dog’s quick reflexes and loyal nature, he wouldn’t be here today.
According to news reports, the owner’s four-legged friend acted in light of time. He woke up Brian Rand, who was fast asleep in the early hours of the morning. Moreover, if it wasn’t for the dog’s instant reaction to the house’s surroundings, things would be very different for the South Carolina based resident.

Rand has found a new sense of gratefulness for his pet Curly. The owner explains how he is still alive, thanks to his brave dog. Furthermore, he goes on to describe the harrowing effects of the entire incident in detail. And the end result was more praise for his four-legged friend.
According to Rand, Curly was immediately woken up by the sight of the house fire. He goes on to describe how the heroic pet nudged, shoved, and pushed him, till he finally woke up. Likewise, he explained how he headed towards the hallway, after getting out of his bed.
Curly kept barking and he knew there was something wrong. And that’s when Rand saw the unthinkable, right before his eyes.
There was an enormous ball of heavy smoke in front of him. The owner knew that he had to act swiftly if he wished to survive. And that’s exactly when he grabbed his brave four-legged friend Curly, and made a run for it, towards the house’s exit.

Rand also took a moment out to describe how he adopted the 70-pound dog, three years ago, from an Animal Shelter. Even though he was in search of a smaller breed, he says that Curly picked him and he couldn’t be more grateful.
