Connie White, 22, from Falkirk, Stirlingshire was left embarrassed after a picture she shared to social media showing off an outfit gained a lot of attention for a very NSFW(“Not Safe For Work”) reason.
Connie decided to mark the occasion by posting a picture of her outfit for the evening on Instagram prior to a Saturday night out with friends to celebrate her birthday.
The birthday girl was standing with her back against the mirror as she posed in front of the camera then shared the snaps to Instagram and thought nothing else of it.
All dolled up looking stunning in a red dress and birthday ribbon, Connie looked ready to party the night away.
However, after posting the picture on social media, a commenter pointed out something a little odd with the picture. When you look closely at the image, a flesh-colored thing can be seen sticking out under her dress.
The humiliated birthday girl quickly deleted the photo on her Instagram account.
Seeing the funny side of the incident, mortified Connie later uploaded the snap to Twitter, along with the caption: “cani believe a posted this on Instagram & someone commented abt how it looked like a had a d**k in between my legs”.
The humorous post went viral on social media, gaining over 1.3K retweets and 25.9K likes (as of this writing).
Connie later clarified that what seemed to be an obscene figure was just a wardrobe malfunction and was simply just the reflection of her left leg, but that didn’t stop people from having a laugh at her misfortune.
“Yes, I spotted it now after about a minute looking,” she responded. “Yes, they’re right it looks like a big one alright.”
Another wrote: “An absolute belter at that,”
“Always good to get a fresh pair of eyes on any work you submit.” joked another.
Someone added: “Christ no, ultimate photobomb.”
A fifth person replied: “I didn’t see it before, but now I can’t stop seeing it.”
Meanwhile, somebody joked that Connie was “not a patch on Kate”, sharing a snap where the Duchess of Cambridge suffered a similar misfortune caused by the wrinkles in her own red dress.
Connie later took to Instagram to make fun of the awkward snap, sharing a picture of herself and two friends from that evening.
She captioned it with: “one of the better pics from my bday when a tucked my d**k in”.
