Cleo Smith, a resident of Australia, went camping with her parents and little sister and tragically disappeared one night.
One night during the camping trip, the 4-year-old girl woke up in the middle of the night and asked for a sip of water from her parents.
After that, she rolled over and went back to sleep. This encounter occurred just before her disappearance. Four people were present in the tent at that time, including Cleo, her younger sister, and her parents.
The parents of the little girl are beyond worried right now. According to them, this was the last conversation of the little girl with them. The following day they woke up around 6 am and discovered that Cleo was missing. The red and grey colored sleeping bag that Cleo had, was also not there as well.
Ellie Smith, Cleo’s mother, alerted the authorities the moment they came to know about Cleo’s disappearance.
There is a possibility that Cleo is abducted, but the police have not given any remarks about it yet. According to people, who were around Cleo’s tent that night, a car sped away the same night around 3 am, and there are chances that Cleo was in that car.
The camp is located around 75km from the city, and between the camp and the city, there is nothing but dry land with wild bushes and scrubs. If Cleo went outside herself, in search of water or something, then it was pretty dangerous. The area is not safe for a 4-year-old to roam in the middle of the night.
A search operation was started after the little girl’s disappearance, but now, because of a massive storm, it is halted. The authorities are trying their best to find the little girl, but still, there are no clues about her location yet. The heavy winds and cold weather are significant reasons the authorities haven’t found anything about Cleo yet.
