The man who has been accused of kidnapping four-year-old Cleo Smith made his first appearance in the courtroom in Australia.
36-year-old Terence Darrell Kelly has been charged over the abduction of Cleo from a campsite where the young child and her family were reportedly staying.
After entering the courtroom, many witnesses revealed how he just couldn’t control his emotions and began exploding. Moreover, he even started to yell, “I’m coming for you!”- in the loudest of tones. Soon after that, he could also be seen swearing at the judges too.
After being formally charged for abducting the young child, officials launched an investigation into his home. And that’s where they reportedly located some bizarre things that showed his weird obsession with Bratz dolls.
In addition to that, officials located a room that was filled with nothing but toys of all kinds.
The 36-year-old was arrested in Carnarvon in Western Australia upon the suspicion of carrying out the kidnapping of the four-year-old as she was found locked inside a nearby home, reports confirmed.
As a whole, he just displayed bizarre behavior in court, even walking inside barefooted while making several attempts to interrupt the judge while he began to speak.
As the charges were read to him, he also started to yell again, “I’m coming for you” as the journalists began photographing him.
The accused is yet to apply for bail and neither has he made any pleas, officials added.
At the moment, the police are remaining silent as to why and how they believe he is responsible for the abduction or how Cleo disappeared all of a sudden.
The case is undoubtedly being referred to as a strange incident as the accused himself displays more and more bizarre personality traits. Just recently, images of him posing with his Bratz dolls and a room filled with girls’ toys have surfaced on social media. As a whole, the details continue to keep adding further mystery.
