Chris Daughtry is absolutely heartbroken and devastated after the sudden tragic news broke out about his daughter’s unexpected death.
The singer explained on Saturday how shocked and numb he became when authorities informed him that his stepdaughter was no more, leaving the entire family shattered.
Police and detectives arrived at the Daughtry family home on Saturday to help begin the investigation into the case, after which it was soon revealed to be an unfortunate event of homicide.
Sources that were close to the Daughtry family explained to TMZ on Saturday how there was a sinister development into the case, just one day after young Hannah Price was found dead in her own home in Tenessee.
The former renowned contestant from American Idol released a statement to his fans and followers through social media about how he was still trying his level best to process the news that took place in the last 24 hours. Similarly, he used the terms devastated and heartbroken to express how he felt at that moment.
Just last week, the singer spoke about how he lost his own mother to cancer but still felt how blessed he was to be given the opportunity to bid her a final farewell, while he made attempts to process the news privately.
But this sudden case has left the singer beyond gutted. “We just never got the chance to say a final goodbye to our precious Hannah. And this is undoubtedly another major hit to our family,” the famous 41-year-old singer added.
On Friday, Hannah’s boyfriend was reportedly arrested and put into Fentress County jail as reported by TMZ. However, it is still not very clear if his arrest was actually directly related to the claims of homicide made by detectives recently.
