Tragic video footage was recently released showing how a heated battle for child custody took an ugly turn after a Texas man fatally shot his partner’s lover dead.
The man pulled the trigger on his partner’s ex-husband as the duo was reportedly involved in an ongoing dispute for child custody.
The disturbing footage which was made using a cellphone was released on Tuesday by the lawyer of Chad Read’s widow and that’s where the deadly confrontation was revealed that took place on November 5th between Kyle Carruth and the victim in Lubbock.
The tragic clip features Chad Read fighting and arguing with Christina who is his ex-wife. And that’s when Carruth enters the scene carrying a rifle in his hand. And that’s is how he begins the deadly confrontation on his front porch.
Jennifer who is Read’s widow is now seeking custody of her two boys that she shared with her late husband. The kids were reported to be 9 and 14 years in age. Moreover, more details into the case have gone on to speak about how both Christina and Carruth plan on tying the knot at the earliest date.
At the moment, no charges have been filed, neither have any arrests on the matter been made in the fatal shooting that occurred on Friday, as reported in the newspaper.
However, the shooter has been listed by the police as a suspect in their reports but he still has not been identified in public by the police.
Meanwhile, the civil court records have gone on to identify the gunman as Carruth who is both a land developer as well an estranged husband of Anne-Marie Carruth, who is a judge in both the Crosby and Lubbock counties.
