A couple who shockingly fed their own puppies an all-vegan diet has now been barred from owning pets claimed reports.
The couple made headlines after their innocent animals were discovered in a severely malnourished form by respective authorities. Moreover, reports suggested how the RSPCA had actually gone ahead and seized the two dogs which were identified as bull Arab puppies. The incident is reported to have taken place last year in June.
While one of the dogs has now found a new home, the other had to be put down humanely, explained authorities leading the investigations into the case.
The owners were guilty of feeding the dogs lentils, pasta, grains, rice, and quinoa too. But when they were confronted, they mentioned to authorities how one of the RSPCA staff members was guilty of ‘eating murdered animals.’
The couple was reportedly unemployed and identified as Megan Price and her husband James McKenzie who hails from a region that’s located on the north of Port Douglas in Cow Bay.point 268 |

RSPCA mentioned how the malnourished little puppies were only 5-month-old puppies named Ula and the other being Roo.
The couple’s justification regarding the entire incident revolved around how other people including their own members were guilty of eating murdered animals and they simply couldn’t afford to do something like that.point 312 |
“This is why we stick to a vegan diet and that’s why we felt the need to feed our dogs the same,” the owners yelled in their justice.point 124 | 1
Both dogs were lame as well as malnourished when the authorities recovered them. Moreover, they were so weak that they simply couldn’t even stand as they were lying down for so long.
