A 17-year-old has been sentenced to jail for 20 years after burying his own cousin alive in the snow.
Damian Hauschultz who hails from Wisconsin’s Mishicot recently received harsh punishment when authorities found him guilty of the cruel act against his 7-year-old male cousin. Little Ethan Hauschultz’s body was found dead in the snow after reports claimed that he passed away from the degree of coldness.
But what really raised so many questions in people’s minds is why a teenager would commit such a gruesome act in the first place.
And that’s when it was revealed how he first beat the young child and then forced him to carry a massive 44-pound log too.But that was not the end of the punishment that the young boy received for not reciting verses from the Bible.
Yes, the cruel teen then went forward and buried his body in the snow, right after little Ethan refused to recite the Bible’s verses.
In June of this year, Damian Hauschultz pleaded guilty to a tragic act, where he was reportedly slapped with homicide charges, relating to the intensity of first degree.
During the shockingly tragic homicide hearing, the 17-year-old pleaded his case as the court heard in silence the heartbreaking details of his crime. Moreover, he spoke about how his young cousin did not recall the 13 Bible verses and that infuriated him to a severe extent, leading him to carry out the cold-blooded murder.
But right before that, the Wisconsin teen did shed light upon how the young boy’s father was in fact the one who ordered him to carry out the harsh punishment because he failed to recite the Bible.
For that reason, little Ethan’s father will face trial in the month of December of this year for eight different charges which also include a murder felony and a felony relating to a child’s delinquency.
