3-Year-Old Boy Falls 10-Feet From A Third-Story Window Before Being Mauled By Two Dogs


A 3-year-old boy fell from a third-story window before being mauled by his family’s two dogs.

He passed away within an hour of the fall. The tragic incident occurred on Wednesday at his New Jersey home.

The two pit bulls have since been taken by a local animal control organization. According to local news outlet NJ Advance Media, city officials are planning to put the dogs down.

Police officers rushed to the scene before 5:30 pm and found the boy in critical condition. He had bite wounds all over his small body and a neck injury from the fall, RLS Media reported.

The unnamed boy was rushed to Trinitas Regional Medical Center where he passed away within an hour.

A neighbor who wanted to remain anonymous told NJ Media Advance that she heard a loud bang and someone screaming, ‘Help! No stop, no stop!’

A man then rushed to the front of the house carrying the bleeding boy.

Another neighbor was quoted saying that she always found the family’s dogs to be aggressive. She also said that she saw the dogs “jumping and barking when she walked past the home.”

According to reports, the backyard where the boy fell was surrounded by a fence. Neighbors said that it was full of ‘feces, motorcycles and debris.’

Neighbor Maria Rocha told CBS New York: “The dogs were bad, the dogs, everybody was scared of the dogs. As soon as the baby fell, the dogs attack him.

“My heart is broken. I didn’t sleep all night. I cannot believe this happened.”
