9-Year-Old Boy ‘In Coma’ After Falling Off Dad’s Shoulders & Being Trampled At Astroworld Festival


A young boy who happened to be an attendee of the ill-fated Astroworld Festival has now entered into an induced coma after reportedly falling off from his dad’s shoulders.

9-year-old Ezra Blount from Dallas, Texas was reportedly dropped by his own dad after he tried to hold his son above the rush of bodies that were prevalent at the deadly Astroworld festival that took place on Friday.

Now, he’s currently in a state of medically induced coma with doctors detailing how much damage he’s suffered to his vital organs such as the heart, lungs, and brain.

Ezra was a part of the thousands of concertgoers who wished to see stars like Travis Scott perform live but little did he know about the tragedy in store.

A total of eight people passed away while thousands of others suffered critical injuries after a stampede trampled so many people down to their deaths.

The young boy’s father claims that he passed out while making attempts to hold his son up, just because he feared that he would be crushed. But soon after the stampede. the father collapsed, causing his son to fall down to the ground too.

When the father woke up, he realized that his son had been admitted to a local hospital nearby.

Creating a GoFundMe for his child’s situation, the father wrote a heartbreaking caption requesting others for help while stating the details of the devastating incident.point 350 |

“Due to his injuries that are starting to swell due to the back of his brain damage and trauma, all of his organs have stopped functioning appropriately.point 133 | He was trampled upon and is currently in a state of induced coma,” the father revealed.point 211 | 1

In just three hours, the account managed to raise $7000 but the family says it could have never imagined how a concert could potentially turn into their worst nightmare.

“We don’t know if he will survive or not, it’s still up in the air,” the father cried.
