As the Taliban forces move in on Afghanistan, gaining control of major cities like Kabul, officials from the Biden administration have started pointing fingers at Donald Trump and his administration for the turmoil.

In the past few days, the officials from the Biden administration were faced with immense criticism and pressure as many questioned whether or not it was the right move to pull out forces. The news comes at a time when the Taliban had recently gained strength.

Now, as the crisis in the already war-torn nation increases, many Americans who are stranded at Kabul’s airport fear for their lives.

Without a doubt, the news of the Taliban entering and gaining a stronghold within days has surprised plenty around the globe, including the Biden administration. The fact that Afghani national forces, as well as the government, have fallen at such a fast pace is truly astonishing for many to believe.

Just last month, senior officials had announced how they believed that it would take months for a possible fall of the civilian government in the city of Kabul. But to their utter dismay, that was wishful thinking.

Today, after months of Biden’s initial announcement relating to how all troops of the US would be out of the country, the President just recently signed an order for the deployment of 6000 troops to assist in the evacuation.

However, the final decision regarding the speech is still yet to be made as well as another decision relating to whether or not Biden will cut his vacation short as he plans on visiting Camp David.

As of now, more and more pressure is mounting on the current Biden administration to take accountability and figure out a solution. However, the blame game continues as former US President Donald Trump has publicly blamed Biden for the turmoil and asked him to apologize to the public while resigning from his post.
