Poor Baby Girl Died After Robbers Dumped Her In An Inflatable Pool And Tied Her Mother To Ransack Their Home


In Ecuador, a baby has died after robbers mercilessly dumped her in an inflatable pool.

Angelica Murillo, the mother of nine-month-old Maria was left heartbroken with the sudden death of her baby.

Angelica was bathing Maria in the pool on her patio when their home was raided by thieves.

November 20, 2021, two men arrived at the house in the rural parish of San Pedro de Suma in the Ecuadorian province of Manabi on a motorbike, the police said.

The robbers told Angelica that they were from a dog vaccination program, but she told them that they had no pets at home.

The two then thieves forced themselves into the property and snatched the baby from Angelica’s arms.

The thieves dumped poor baby Maria in the pool before taking the mother inside.

Angelica handed them 1,000 dollars but they are unsatisfied by the huge cash sum, so they reportedly tied her up before ransacking the house.

The thieves robbed Angelica’s home and they flee immediately after hearing a motorbike from a distance.

After the men left, Angelica began to scream for help and her cries were heard by her other daughter who had been playing at a neighbor’s house.

When her 12-year-old daughter got home, she found her baby sister floating in the pool. She rapidly untied her mother and tried to revive her baby sister, but its already too late.

At the time of this writing, the local police were still searching for the two suspects.

Gang violence is one of their massive issues in the South American country with more than 18,000 robberies around the corner in the month of September alone.

In Ecuador, there is an average of 66 robberies every day. Since last September, household robberies have increased by an astonishing 14%.

Moreover, the rate of homicides per 100,000 of the population in the last five years has doubled. Of the 1,885 people who have been murdered in 2021, at least 1,112 have been categorized as gang violence.
