The X rated cartoon takes on surreal and shocking twists
The level of adult content in the x-rated cartoon is a lot to handle. Many modern-day viewers were stunned by Fritz the Cat. From talks of vaginas to claims of addiction- this cartoon is not for the faint-hearted.
But that’s just the beginning. Some discerning elements even include group-based sex scenes in bathtubs. Now if that’s not raunchy, we’re not quite sure what is.
Some of the scenes are so explicit that they wouldn’t ever work in real life shows. Furthermore, this x-rated cartoon is most definitely not for kids. So, please be aware of keeping them 10 meters away.
In addition, many viewers are expressing their concerns on the show. They can’t believe how the 1972 based adult series is making rounds on Amazon Prime.
Plot for X rated cartoon, Fritz the Cat is reportedly inspired by a comic strip
If you think comic strips represent fun light-hearted humor, you may want to think again. The x-rated cartoon is anything but light-hearted.
Fritz the Cat is based on a comic strip series. It was originally created by cartoonist and creative designer Robert Crumb. When it comes to the storyline, the cartoon shows how a hypothetical cat raises hell. It relates to the cat’s college days while he sins along the way.
When it was first released, Fritz the Cat was called as highly conversational. And we can totally relate as to why. Others went as far as stating it as the ‘most outrageous film ever. Now that’s definitely some unique honor. However, we’re not quite sure if it sounds too positive.
Fritz the Cat becomes the first animated movie slapped with X ratings
Usually when you think of x-ratings, you think of porn movies and videos.
In the past, Fritz the Cat received major x-ratings from critics across the globe. The producer, Steve Krantz, did make major appeals to remove the ratings. He stated that it was not like a porn movie. However, not too many took heed.
Critics describe adult animation series as ‘not for everyone’
Fritz the Cat, despite its animations, is very lewd.
The scenes most definitely are not for those in search of fun and games. It also has a lot of strong sexual references and graphics that would make anyone go mad. The movie might appeal to those in search of non-Disney related animations. But by all means, keep your kids away.
Director of the animated film expresses how many felt he was ‘destroying Disney’s image’
The controversial movie director, Ralph Bakshi, said the following according to Animation World:
I believe in what I am drawing. What adult animation means to me is not tits and ass, but the right to animate any subject or idea you have and let the ratings fall where they may. All I wanted to do was animate the things I thought about and not the dolls they thought about.
[…] When I first got to Hollywood to do the production of Fritz the Cat in 1970, I was greeted by a full-page ad in Variety from about 50 well known Hollywood animators who told me I was destroying the Disney image and should go home. I didn’t know who these guys were because I was from New York, so I threw the ad away.
In the modern era of today, the surprises keep coming in. And this x-rated cartoon is the perfect example of Amazon Prime’s streaming device.
