A poor baby was found in South East of London and tragically pronounced dead by the Paramedics from London Ambulance.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, a body of a newborn baby was found in South East London. Paramedics quickly responded to the scene and try to revive the poor baby.
Officers and paramedics were called to New Eltham Village at about 05:00 am on Sunday but the infant was pronounced dead at the scene. Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service also came and do their best but were unable to save the newborn.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Service (MET) said: “Police were called shortly after 5:00hrs on Sunday, January 30, to the body of a newborn baby, found in New Eltham.”
“Officers attended the location along with London Ambulance Service. Sadly, the baby was pronounced dead. A post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course. Inquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances. There has been no arrest at this stage,” they added
The authorities already announced that they are in contact with the baby’s mother who is now receiving medical help adding “We are not able to discuss further at this time.”
No arrest has been made in connection with the incident. A post-mortem examination has been raised so the authorities will be able to determine the baby’s cause of death.
Scotland Yard said police are not providing any further information at this point, to protect the mother from the public. Metropolitan Police Service doesn’t also tell the mother’s name.
According to MailOnline, the exact location where the infant’s body was found has not been made public due to the sensitive nature of the case.
